Connect reading, conversation, practical work, and faith as you help your child grow in understanding and confidence.

Learn alongside your child

Begin by listening. What can your child explain comfortably? Where do they need a model, a smaller step, or another way to respond? Reading aloud, drawing, talking through an answer, and working with everyday objects can all make learning more approachable.

Offer support without taking over. Let your child try, ask questions, and return to something that needs more practice.

A simple learning rhythm

  1. Begin together. Preview what you will work on and show an example when helpful.
  2. Practice in a manageable part. Give your child room to work while staying available.
  3. Explain it back. Invite your child to tell, show, or draw what they learned.
  4. Use it in daily life. Connect the lesson to a household task, a garden observation, or an act of service.

Who I Am in Christ

Our Grades 1–5 curriculum connects identity in Christ with the whole armor of God. Each grade builds on familiar rhythms while inviting deeper Scripture reflection.

Children read Scripture, speak personalized Truth aloud, learn to pray, and put love into action through Boots on the Ground service.

This week: turn a task into a lesson

Invite your child to help plan a family meal. Read the recipe together, identify the steps, and decide who will do each part. Afterward, talk about what was learned and who benefited from the work.
